Dear Amaya,
What a beautiful little miracle you are! I wish I could be there in person to hold you! I want to be sure you know that everyone (and I mean everyone!) is praying for you. We are also praying for your mom and dad, who need strength and comfort just like you. Here is my favorite lullaby….I used to sing it to my babies and my mom used to sing it to me (and to your Grandma Carolyn too!)…
Hush be still as any mouse,
There’s a baby in the house,
Not a dolly, not a toy,
Just a laughing baby girl.
Rock-a-bye-oh bye-oh, baby…
Daddy will come by and by.
It sounds better sung than typed. If your mom knows it, she can sing it to you.

My mom, Sue Peters, sent me the link to your site. 2 of our 4 children were born premtaurely and spent a lot of time in the hospital. In fact, we just got home yesterday from placing a port-a-cath in our 8 month old daughter. Anyway, I just wanted you to know that we are holding you up in prayer. The miracle of birth has taught us so much and made us really appreciate life, for it’s so fragile.
