I wish I could be there for you right now. I hate that we aren't together anymore. I have been through a lot of health issues with Hailee and I am still going through them. There are many tough choices when caring for a sick child. You can't listen to statistics. Make your choices with your heart. Statistics and percentages will only terrify you. Amaya will be how ever she is supposed to be and things will turn out exactly as they should. You, my friend, will struggle through perfectly. I love you lots and know I am just a phone call away. I will be thinking about you all and hoping Amaya pulls through this. She is lucky to have you for her mommy. Love You Lots, Amy Gina,

This situation has touched me and I pray that God will hold you close. The peace and calm that exists in your hearts is more evident than you can imagine. I am inspired by your example and reassured of my own faith. It's strange that these are my first official words to you,Aaron, my brother. Through my entire life, I have prayed that God would keep you safe and strong. You've turned out to be such an outstanding individual. I am so proud of you. I cannot wait to meet you and your wife and all of your beautiful daughters. I have a little smidge of lighthearted advice for you. And I know that this is going to sound a little bit silly, but it works for me. Whenever I find myself in a tough situation I imagine "Dory" from "Finding Nemo" singing to "Marlin", as they float down into the darkness of the ocean......"Just keep swimming....just keep swimming....just keep swimming, swimming, swimming..." It has almost become a mantra of mine. And if it lifts your spirits, then why not? Amaya is a truly blessed little baby. Just as you all are for having been given this time with her.
